Where Can Little Mouse Sleep ?
Important: Don’t forget to get help from a grown up. (Do not turn on the oven alone.)
Step 1: | Cut English muffin in half. |

Toast English muffin. You may make the English muffins different sizes: |
Step 3: | Cook oatmeal according to directions. |
Step 4: | Spoon oatmeal over the muffin. |
Step 5: | Spoon a bit of honey over oatmeal. Bears love honey! |
Step 1: | Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. |
Step 2: |
Cut English muffin in half. Sprinkle muffin with M & M’s or bits of chocolate. |
Step 3: |
Grill muffin in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until chocolate is chocolate is melted. |
Step 1: | Preheat oven to 450 degrees. |
Step 2: | Cut English muffin in half. (as many as you like) |
Step 3: | Spoon ready-made tomato sauce over muffin. |
Step 4: | Thinly slice a tomato. |
Step 5: |
Sprinkle muffins with shredded mozzarella cheese and a bit of parmesan cheese. |
Step 6: | Add sliced tomatoes. |
Step 7: |
Bake in the oven for about 13 minutes, or until cheese melts. |

In the book, Sleep Tight Little Mouse, Little Mouse found many places to sleep. He slept upside down with bats in a cave, inside kangaroo pouches and even in a bird’s nest. Can you think of other ways animals sleep that Little Mouse might like to try? Here are some suggestions for how Little Mouse could sleep: like a flamingo - on one leg like a clown fish - tucked inbetween seaweed like a giraffe - standing up with it’s head resting on a tree branch like a monkey - in a nest of leaves high up in a tree like a dolphin - slowly swimming along the water’s surface with one eye open |
